San Francisco

Founded in 1776 by a Spanish friar and developed thanks to the Gold Rush, San Francisco has more than 800,000 inhabitants today and is one of the most important tourist destinations in the United States.

San Francisco is known for the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, Twin Peaks or "trams" traversing the steep streets of the city. The unique character of the city has emerged thanks to the cultural mix of native Indians, Spanish settlers and large numbers of Asian immigrants.

The school

Our school is located in the heart of San Francisco, in a prominent location next to Market Street, and very close to Union Square.

It is located on the 18th floor of a large building on Montgomery Street. The school is modern and well equipped, studying in this school are students of all nationalities.

There are 15 bright and spacious classrooms, a coffee shop on the ground floor, free wireless Internet access throughout the center, single study rooms, access to 23 computers and a big TV screen.

The school is acrediten by English USA.

PREPARATION FOR CAMBRIDGE EXAM

Cambridge exams are recognized by employers, universities and institutions around the world and the results are very usefull for your professional life. This course focuses on thoriught preparation so that the students feel confident at the exam date. It offers three different levels of examinations:

ACCOMMODATION

Host Family

Host families are carefully selected. Living in a host family gives you the opportunity to continue practicing English at home, plus the experience of knowing the customs of American families. Some of our families are young, but we also have some retired people, all of them dedicated to making you feel as another member of their family.

We offer accommodation in double or single rooms. You can choose from half board (breakfast and dinner) or book only breakfast.

Some families live in San Francisco and while others in the nearby cities of Daly and South San Francisco. Most of the families lives in neighborhoods such as Bernal Heights, Glen Park, Inner and Outer Richmond, Inner and Outer Sunset, St. Francis Wood, Excelsior, Castro y Mission.

Residence MT

The residence is located in one of the youngest and most interesting neighborhoods of San Francisco. It is a renovated old Buddhist monastery. The residence has a patio on the top floor, several kitchens and common areas.
The residence is about 15 minutes by public transport from the school.

Residence MR

This residence is located in a beautiful Victorian building. The location is an exceptional area in the upscale Pacific Heights neighborhood surrounded by trees and mansions. This residence is an apartment hotel offering rooms with shared bathroom and half board accommodation. The residence has a study room and a pool.
