Washington D.C. is a great city and one of the most visited places in the USA. It offers a variety of interesting experiences, from learning about the American history and government to seeing many of the most important monuments and memorials in the country. The nation’s capital is wealthier, safer, livelier, tastier, more populous and more ready for tourists than it has been in decades. This amazing city is also home to great cuisine, art, cultural attractions and much more!
There are many spots to visit and things do in Washington, some of the most important include: visiting the White House, the National Museum of American History, the Capitol Hill, enjoying the Museum of Air and Space, relaxing in the Meridoan Hill Park, shopping and visiting New York City which is just 4 hours away by train.

THE SCHOOL

Our school in Washington was founded in 1986, and it is a highly-recognized institution. It is located just a few minutes away from the center and a few steps away from the historical Georgetown, full of bars, cafés and shops.
The academic center is situated in a modern building which offers many facilities. It is a large and prestigious school with comfortable classrooms, internet connection, a library full of self-study materials, a computer room and a student lounge with a microwave and vending machines.
All of our instructors are qualified natives with long experience in teaching English as a second language to students and professionals from around the globe.

The school is accredited by IELTS Cambridge and TOEFL examns.

Every week the school organizes many activities and excursions inside and outside the city such as: a boat cruise, welcome to new students, afternoon shopping, movie nights, baseball party, barbecues, theatres, restaurants, festivals and events at the national mall.

ACCOMMODATION

Residence
The Residence is located in the city center next to the George Washington University. We offer double and single rooms. The school is only 20-30 minutes away by public transport. Each apartment has a kitchen, TV, WiFi, common room, a gym and laundry access, bed-linen and a cleaning service. The building also has a grocery store and 24-hours security service.

Host Family
Host families are carefully selected. Living in a host family gives you the opportunity to continue practicing English at home, plus the experience of knowing the customs of American families. Some of our families are young, but we also have some retired people, all of them dedicated to making you feel as another member of their family.
All families are native, however, we must highlight that all are unique and two identical families do not exist. The host families represent the rich diversity of the United States. They can have different religions or come from different cultures or ethnicities.
We offer accommodation in double or single rooms.
