Cambrige is famous for its university, it is a city of more than 800 years. Has beautiful historical buildings as Saints Church and Cambridge University Press Bookshop which is the oldest bookstore in England. It is a dynamic and lively city full of shops, beautiful places and nice parks, every day has numerous concerts and exhibitions. There are many places to visit and to do in Cambridge such as: visit King's College and Museums, go shopping, play Remo, and drink tea like the English style.

 

THE PROGRAM

This is a course of 20 hours per week 60 min/ hour with a maximum of 12 students per class.

The school is accredited by Private Further Education ISI and Brithis Council.

 

All teachers have TEFL certification and QTS, they are native and experienced in teaching English.

The first day all students will be examined to establish the initial level and assigned to the ideal group based on their age, level of English and nationality.

The course program is in line with the CEF (Common European Framework). When the course is finished, each student graduates and receives a certificate of attendance.

The program includes many activities all supervised by teachers. You cool enjoy welcome and farewells parties, play sports, game nights, bowling, visits King’s College, watch a movie, visit Bury St. Edmunds, full day trip to London, etc.

 

Example of activities: 

Sunday:

  • Arrive at the airport. Welcomed by one of the programme team. Transfer from the airport to the accommdation.
  • 18:00 Dinner and free time.

Monday:

  • Breakfast.
  • English classes from 09:00-14:15 and lunch.
  • Afternoon: tour around the city.
  • Afternoon-Evening: Dinner and welcome party.

Tuesday:

  • Breakfast.
  • English classes from 09:00-14:15 and lunch.
  • Afternoon: Olympic games or Bowling.
  • Afternoon-Evening: Dinner and activities: rowing typical of Cambridge.

Wednesday:

  • Breakfast.
  • English classes from 09:00-14:15 and lunch.
  • Afternoon: Trip to King´s College.
  • Afternoon-Evening: Dinner and after Garden Games or Disco.

Thursday:

  • Breakfast.
  • English classes from 09:00-14:15 and lunch.
  • Afternoon: Excursion to Bury St. Edmunds.
  • Afternoon-Evening: Dinner and free time.

Friday:

  • Breakfast.
  • English classes from 09:00-14:15 and lunch.
  • Afternoon: Games: Photo Treasure Hunt or swimming.
  • Afternoon-Evening: cinema night or sports.

Saturday: 

  • Breakfast.
  • Full day excursion to London.
  • Afternoon-Evening: Dinner and free time.

 

ACCOMMODATION

Host Family

Host families are carefully selected. Living in a host family gives you the opportunity to continue practicing English at home , plus the experience to know the uses and customs of English families. Some of our families are young and we also have some retired people, all of them will try to make you feel as another member of the family. They are very close to the school, only 15-25min by public transport or just by .

Accomodation is in double rooms.

If you have any allergies, special dietary requirements, dislike of particular pets or any other special requests, just let us know in advance and we'll do our best to satisfy your needs.

 

Residence

The residential complex where students will be hosted, is divided into six buildings pretty close to the school. There is the security  service in the building. The accommodation will be a single room or shared rooms (two or three students per shared room). Laundry is once a week.
