Oxford has been attracting scholars and tourists alike for the centuries. From the ancient University of Oxford to the rolling hills of the Cotswolds there is so much rich history and culture for you to explore. Oxford is the perfect city for young people: fun, cosmopolitan, full of shops, markets, museums and beautiful parks. It has the oldest English-speaking university and one of the most prestigious in the world. London is only 90 km, Windsor, Bath and Statford-upon-Avon are also very close.
THE SCHOOL
Our school is the most International school in Oxford. There are many students from everywhere and there is also English students which is perfect for making friends and practicing their language.
The place is very safe and quiet surrounded by the beautiful English countryside.
THE PROGRAM
English classes will be 15 hours a week from Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day, each class is 60 minutes. The first day a placement test is performed. The test is used to distribute the students according of their grammar and vocabulary level but especially the level of speaking.
Classes focus on communicative practice and improve their conversational skills. The aim is to help students to improve their ability to express themselves in English reinforcing their confidence and fluency. They will learn new words and phrases, work grammar and pronunciation. The program includes many activities all supervised monitor. It’s included in the program activities in the afternoon, evening, half-day excursions and a full day trips on Saturdays and Sundays.
An example of half-day and full day excursion on Saturday and Sunday trips is: London, Windsor or Warwick Castle, Stratford, Christ Church, ...
There are also organized: walks around Oxford, visits to the Museum of Natural History, treasure hunts, barbecues and karaoke. Sporting, social and leisure activities are always present on campus, including a heated outdoor pool, two tennis courts, a basketball court and spacious lawns where students can enjoy football, cricket or volleyball or just relax. If its raining you will not get bored because in the school we also have table tennis and many entertaining activities.
Leisure activities include night quiz nights, funny talent shows, parties, treasure hunts and always popular nightclubs!
Students can also make local visits to walk around and see the sights in the town.
Activities outside Additional facilities include horseback riding (requires an additional fee), bowling, ice skating and cinema.
The trips are always fully supervised by teachers.
ACCOMMODATION
Host Family
Host families are carefully selected. Living in a host family gives you the opportunity to continue practicing English at home , plus the experience to know the customs of English families. Some of our families are young and we also have some retired people, all of them would try to make you feel as another member of the family. They are very close to the school, only 15-25min by public transport or just .
If you have any allergies, special dietary requirements, dislike of particular pets or any other special requests, just let us know in advance and we'll do our best to satisfy your needs.
Residence
The residence is very nice, rooms are comfortable and clean. The residence staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help with any problems that may arise. All meals are provided in the canteens of the campus, the staff offers a wide range of food for all tastes and appetites. Our team of professionals ensures that each student is cared for and supported throughout their stay.
